Our handmade soaps retain their natural glycerine &, unlike commercial soaps, we do not add synthetic hardeners. As a result, they can soften in humid conditions. This is why our storage instructions specifically recommend storing the bar in a dry & well-ventilated condition. This also helps prevent the bar from sticking to the soap case and getting unnecessarily wasted.

For effective cleansing, the method of use is equally important. Our directions specifically recommend mildly oiling the hair, using adequate soap and water to create sufficient lather, and massaging the scalp well before rinsing. These three factors—oil, adequate lather and thorough massage—play an important role in effective cleansing.

Natural shampoo bars can also require some adjustment in usage technique, especially when transitioning from conventional shampoos. We hope you will give it another try following the recommended method and storage instructions.
